THE SHIELD
Is a piece of defensive armor that is sometimes made of gold. In the Scriptures, God is often called the shield of his people; the shield of MCST. “I am their shield …” Genesis 15:1.
THE DESIGNS
1958 The Foundation Year
The word “crescere” is a Latin word which means “to grow”. It depicts the theme:

Naging Punong Pinagpala.
2008 The Golden Jubilee Year
The Rope signifies unity among the Sisters.
The White Cross throughout the years “God is always there”.
FIFTY
The COCONUT TREE in the shape of FIVE (5)
The Coconut Tree : The tree grown in Quezon province where the Institute was founded.
The Root : “If the root be holy, so are the branches.” (Rom.11:16)
Founder, Bishop Alfredo Ma. Obviar (the root) is a man of God,
and the Sisters (the branches) are deeply rooted in his Charism.
The Three Leaves : The two Ex-Mother Generals and the present Mother General who offered themselves, through the mercy of God, to the service and growth of the Institute.
The Five Coconut Fruits: The five continents of the world where the Sisters have spread out.

O Mapagmahal naming Ama
Kinalinga Mo kaming Iyong angkan -
ang Misyonera Katekista ni Santa Teresita ng Niño Hesus
at nakamtan namin ang ginintuang talulot ng Iyong pagpapala.
Busilak ang Iyong kalooban sa isang binhi
na inilagak mo sa munting bukirin ng Diocesis ng Lucena.
Ito’y naging hitik na bunga, inani ng malalapit na Diocesis ng Pilipinas
at lumagananp sa Asya, Europa, Africa, Oceania at Estados Unidos.
Sa panahong ito ng aming paghahanda para sa ika-limampung taong pagdiriwang ng aming pag-iral sa kasaysayan ng Inang Simbahan
buong puso kaming nagpapasalamat at nagsusumamo na patuloy Mong igawad sa aming Kongregasyon, sampu ng mga kasapi nito, ang Iyong masaganang pagpapala at pamamatnubay sa aming paglalakbay sa buhay na ito patungo sa iyo; at sa aming pagsusumikap na maisakatuparan ang misyon ng pagtuturo ng katesismo na ipinagkatiwala Mo sa aming Tagapagtatag ang Lingkod ng Diyos Alfredo Maria Obviar. kami sana ay manatiling matatag, matapat at malayang naghahandog
ng aming sarili sa Iyo at sa Iyong sambayanan sa ilalim ng pagkakandili ng Mahal na Birhen ng Monte Carmelo at ni Sana Teresita ng Niño Hesus na aming patrona.
Hinihiling naming ito sa pamamagitan ni Hesu-Cristong aming Panginoon
kasama ng Espiritu Santo na nabubuhay at naghahari
ngayon at magpasawalang hanggan. Amen.
