Little Theresians Congress

Ink dresses and blue shirts painted the MCST compound as the Little Theresians arrived for the congress on January 12. Seven hundred and eighty one little boys and girls including their parents and guardians. Most Rev. Rolando Tria Tirona, OCD, Bishop of the Prelature of Infanta officiated the Eucharistic Celebration and gave his passionate sharing on the “Simplicity of St. Therese: Our Way to Holiness.” The Little Theresians enjoyed the ‘simple question and answer’ game given by Bishop Tirona and the small gift they received from him as they answer his question.

With their simple desires, the little theresians did not mind the rain that poured almost the whole day but instead they were able to sing, dance and play actively even just within the four corners of the Alfredo Maria Obviar hall. The laughter and voices of these little kids were just like music to ones ear. Truly, their ways and examples are great inspiration to the people who witnessed their simplicity. Sr. Emily Bautista, the coordinator of this congress thanked Bishop Tirona, the MCST Sister coordinators of the little theresians on their respective mission places, the parents who allowed their children to imbibe the spirituality of St. Therese at an early age and all the people involved in making this congress an experience that one will always remember.
